    Ontario land transfer tax refund for first-time homebuyers

    Eligible first-time homebuyers in Ontario can get a refund of land transfer tax, up to a maximum of $4,000.

    First Home Savings Account (FHSA)

    First-time home buyers can save in a registered FHSA to buy or build a qualifying first home tax-free, within limits; first-year participation room is $8,000.
